Very much so. If something cannot reasonably be said to breach TOCs and accordingly, is not banned, then the best way around it is to get a mob of 200+ to weigh in, so that the administrators / moderators have to give them what they want, just to keep the peace.
That is what happened to me. I went back there in a private window and found 7 or more complaints aimed at something I’d said and it was deemed to not be in breach of TOCs. Somebody screenshotted the tweet (I’d been snitch-tagged), so a whole mob of hostile all sent out complaints and reports. This resulted in my permanent suspension.
I went to an alternative social media platform, because I wanted to check to see if they would establish a presence there. I did, just to check to see if they had followed me and they had done so.
The one who followed me (and probably got a whole gaggle of flying monkey / sycophants to join in too), is in any event, a vicious, vindictive, spiteful and highly litigious individual which could be why Twitter Admin did as they were told.
I never did bother creating a sock account to keep tabs on proceedings, or to keep an eye on them. As far as i am concerned, a platform that favours and rewards bullies can shove its service somewhere that the sun does not shine.
