It is truly horrific, that we exist in a culture where the rape culture (yes, it’s real, yes it definitely exists), is sustained and implemented by a popular culture that capitalises on commodification, in this case, of women.

The thing is, men would benefit so much if they could only bring themselves to break free of the shackles of the dominant system of control. It is mostly damaging for women, because they’re directly on the receiving end. It is also damaging for men, because it props up a system whereby a so-called ‘superclass’ of male is able to impose it’s minority will upon the whole of society.

This has to change and to be honest, it requires - demands - the involment and participation of men of good will who want to build a better future for all of us.
