There seems to be a delaying tactic by the Conservative Party government to hold off any revision of the law on conversion therapy. They're playing a waiting game, so that is the animus is amplified in the murdoch press and the rest of the mainstream media, they can quietly ditch any attempts to ban any sort of conversion therapy.

The Tories (Conservatives) are on record for their hatred and bigotry of the wider LGBTQ+ community; not just transgender people. We're an easier target right now, because of the relentless vilification in the mainstream media, backed up and supported by people who should know better.

As the OP of the original article noted, those who joined the LGB Alliance faction are simply accelerating their own demise, but they don't even know it.

On reflection, this was perhaps not the best time for me to embark upon my own gender transition.
