Really, there isn't much of a Trans Debate, as ususally, a Debate consists of opposing perspectives. The echo-chamber stitch-up of the British (well, foreign-oligarch-owned), press ensures that only variations of one side of the debate are presented. Then we have the fully-coopted BBC to weigh in from the perspective of "both sides" (guess which side gets the most airing?).

I have disengaged from what is allegedly the 'mainstream' media, as it is so obviously biased, slanted and caught in the grip of this new wave of hateful, reactionary rhetoric that it is simply damaging to my mental health.

The Transgender Question reminds me, an awful lot, of The Jewish Question, as they both emanate from the same mindset.

Was anyone ever able to explain, exactly, what the qualifications of a former hack for - I think either The Economist or was it The Wall Street Journal - are, for drumming up hatred against a tiny minority without a voice to answer back with?

There have been 3 of these far-out / far-right screeds published in recent years and each of them are drawing from the same source material and playing upon and stoking the moral panic, fear, loathing and hatred of the hind-most section of the British public (which, to be fair, has to be an estimated 65 million out of the existing 67 million).

This has all been allowed to happen because England's toxic Culture War was launched with a view to winding the clock back, ripping us out of the E.U. and cementing the dominance of a leeching parasite class in perpetuity.

Once they've finished with us, they'll move on to other minorities - both within the LGBIA++ and then, onto other minorities.

It seems to me that we are roughly at around 1933 on the recursive historical clock, and I have a feeling it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better (if it ever does).
