It is quite a plunge, isn't it? It kind of feels unequivocal and irreversible, on the face of it?
From my own experience, which isn't everything, I know: I have been doing it for 2 years now and nobody has noticed any differences at all. A lot of it comes down to how old you are when you start, your luck-of-the-draw genetics (which nobody can control), plus the other efforts made in the transition process.
You probably have more leeway than you realise, because HRT-assisted gender transition is generally not something people are looking out for?
Whatever you decide, good luck with it!
