Interesting – but what about those for whom it is not? What about those excluded, on the margins and deemed ‘unworthy’ and ‘not good enough?’ Is it a healthy proposition to pour salt into the gaping wound, to make the defective and rejected feel even worse about ourselves?
I think that the isolate and excluded comprise a viable socio-cultural political minority identity. I cannot say what form the political activism may take, but it might look a bit different to any preceding identity-politics movement.
