I don't think that they will ever stop doing this until such time as they are actually forced to.

I take on board your point about supporting community-led media, as well as non-hostile / friendly media, too. It is out there, but it is pushed to the margins. I'm thinking of Novara Media on YouTube, Owen Jones (also on YouTube), and Byline Times, which I think are very good, too. They also offer a physical, print-medium newspaper alongside their digital content. I'm subscribed / patreoned to all of these and it is so well worth it.

As for the hostile, mainstream media; I give them a very wide berth.

It is oddly reassuring to me that the anti-trans zealots think they have struck a major victory with the closure of Tavistock & Portman for children's services; especially as subsuming gender support services within the broader framework of children's mental health care could make it more accessible and responsive to the needs of that service user base. I just hope they're not closed for grow-ups too, that's where my GIC Referral was sent to back in March.
