I avoid men because their gossip is of the worst kind. I had a former acquaintance (cis-het white, ex-army, inherited a stash from his parents who died when he was in his late 50’s (I lost mine when i was coming up to my 11th birthday)), who blabbed his chops off about me and has put me at risk.

Men are arguably worse than women when it comes to gossip, ‘cos they don’t engage with events or abstract ideas, they just talk footy-shit all the time. Just as well I got those Bose Quiet Comfort noise cancelling headphones and an Apple Music subscription! I prefer being with women anyway, always have ever since i was very young ...they just seem less threatening to me.
