Great article - covered the points about how the BBC is essentially a propaganda arm of the Tory Party / Government.

They are playing along with the transphobia because they know that to do otherwise, would compromise the renewal of their charter, which has to be sanctioned by Tory politicians.

The BBC are proving to be more of a liability than an asset, if for no other reason that they will and in fact are, toeing the government line on many other issues too. See Brexit and Pandemic stats reporting.

So far, the BBC have been fairly gay-positive, but if things do start to unravel (which they very well could), then the Tories at the top will drive reporting to even more slanted, dis-informative and biased directions.
